Refund and deferral policy

Refunds or deferrals for medical reasons​

​

- Upon submitting medical evidence up to four (4) weeks prior to the event, i.e. by June 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m., the following options will be made available: o Deferral to 2025 (race fee), transferable: gift certificate in the amount​

​

o Deferral to 2025 (race fees) transferable: gift certificate in the amount of the registration fee (excluding Triathlon Québec fees and any transaction fees) to be applied to the registration for the 2024 edition of the Gatineau Triathlon and fully transferable to another individual; or​

​

       o Refund of 75% of the race registration fees (excluding Triathlon Québec fees and transaction fees, which are not refundable).​

​

- After the aforementioned date, no refunds will be offered.​

- Requests for refunds or deferrals for medical reasons, accompanied by medical proof, should be sent to: inscription@triathlongatineau.ca.​

 ​

Cancellation of the event due to a pandemic​

- If the event was to be cancelled due to a pandemic, the following options would be available to you:​

​

o Deferral to 2025, fully transferable (100% of fees): gift certificate in the amount of the full value of the registration fees, including Triathlon Québec fees and transaction fees, to be applied to the registration for the 2025 edition of the Gatineau Triathlon and fully transferable to another individual; or​

​

o Refund of 50% of the full value of the registration fees, including Triathlon Québec fees and transaction fees. ​

​

Complete or partial cancellation of the event due to reasons of major necessity other than a pandemic​

- If the Event or any part of it was to be cancelled due to reasons of major necessity other than the COVID-19 pandemic, which may include any of the following causes, without being limited to: weather conditions, earthquake, fire, riot, uprising, etc., no refund will be issued. ​

Bib Exchange/Race switch policy​

Bib exchange/transfer or race switch is allowed up to online registration closure by loging in your MS1 registration account.​

Additional fees may apply if switching for a more expensive race.
